Australia‘s Byron Bay has a good claim to be the world’s best surf town with 365 days a year of warm water, a great climate, consistent waves, and an incredible natural beauty. It was here in the late ’60s that the “shortboard revolution” took place, with Bob McTavish and Nat Young cutting down longboards by up to two feet to create radically new maneuverable boards. But it is also one of the top destinations for the lovers of the retro movement.

The Yow Byron Bay is an incredibly fun board specially designed for those who love longboard surfing in its most classical way. This 38” board will allow you to practice your cross-stepping and your nose riding while giving you a very close feeling from when you surf on a log. It features our cork top, which is perfect for the bare feet sessions after long surfs. It mounts the S5 system for a more stable and controlled ride and the Cinetic wheels 66x51mm 80A for a better grip with the surface and extra stability.
